With these AR glasses, users can see digital content overlaid on the real-world view in front of them. This might include things like messages or maps for navigation.
To use the Oppo Air Glass 3, you will need to connect it to an Oppo smartphone. You can control the glasses using touch sensors on the side of the frame.
Oppo mentioned that its latest AR glasses have a voice assistant. This assistant runs on Oppo’s own large language model (LLM) called AndesGPT.
The voice assistant is currently only available in China. According to the company, the chatbot is capable of “performing information searches and conducting conversations to assist users in tasks like planning travel.”
Oppo believes that the Air Glass 3 AR glasses are a “suitable hardware carrier for AI due to its nature features such as visual and voice interactions, to eventually become the best companions for smartphones in more scenarios.”
The Oppo Air Glass 3 weighs just 50 grams.
It’s uncertain if Oppo intends to sell the glasses since they’re still in the prototype stage. Oppo didn’t release their previous version, Air Glass 2, to the public either.
