MIUI 11 will bring dark mode to the POCO F1
POCO F1 is getting a system-wide dark mode.
Xiaomi is taking feedback from users who already enjoy dark mode on their Xiaomi and Redmi devices.
Xiaomi’s MIUI gets mixed opinions from tech reviewers and its consumers around the world. It offers loads of functionality but isn’t as clean as stock Android. It has ads popping up unexpectedly that tends to annoy users. But there’s some positive news from the house of the most affordable Snapdragon 845 device, the POCO F1. MIUI is getting a system-wide dark mode.
System-wide dark mode has been implemented by companies like Samsung, which brought it with its One UI. Pixel brought it with Android Q. Hence, Xiaomi is also looking forward to bringing the feature to one of its popular devices, the POCO F1, in MIUI 11. Some Xiaomi devices already come with this feature, like Xiaomi Mi 8, Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro, which received a system-wide dark mode with the MIUI 10 beta update.
Xiaomi is looking for user feedback from those already having the dark mode. It seems as if Xiaomi wants to make some important tweaks before it rolls out the dark mode for public use. This means you will probably get a refined software experience with MIUI 11. The update will be released to everyone as revealed by a Twitter thread from the head of Pocophone, Alvin Tse. Once dark mode is stabilised, it will be ported to MIUI 11.
