There is speculation that during the event, Microsoft is expected to introduce the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6. These devices are said to be Microsoft’s first AI-powered PCs with support for special AI features arriving on Windows 11 later in the year.

The Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 are expected to be powered by the new Intel Core Ultra and Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors. These chipsets could be equipped with next-gen NPUs to boost AI performance. Comparatively, these new chips are said to bring a major improvement in performance and efficiency than their previous models.

The Surface Pro 10 will likely have a similar design to its predecessor. It could feature an upgraded anti-reflective OLED screen with HDR support. Not just that, there could also be an improved ultrawide front-facing webcam powered by AI Studio Effects.

On the other hand, the Surface Laptop 6 is expected to have a sleeker design with thinner bezels, a new haptic touchpad, and an updated selection of ports, including USB-C and USB-A.

These laptops are anticipated to be among the first to support upcoming AI features on Windows 11. These include features like on-device Copilot functionality, real-time live captions and translations, video game upscaling, enhanced Windows Studio Effects, and the innovative “AI Explorer” feature.

Microsoft could leverage this event as an occasion to officially unveil the upcoming major update for Windows 11– Windows 11 version 24H2.
