Microsoft has launched the OneNote Importer tool that allows Evernote users to migrate their content to OneNote. The tool is currently only available to Windows users, but the company has said that it plans to release the tool for Mac users in the coming months. The company said in a post on its official blog, “OneNote and Evernote are similar in many ways, but we think you’ll appreciate the advantages OneNote has to offer.”
Microsoft is aiming to attract users with a host of free features such as unlimited monthly uploads, saving emails as notes, and digitising business cards. OneNote also comes with a free-form canvas allowing users to write anywhere on the page. Free users of Evernote only get 60MB of uploads each month, but can increase that limit to 1GB by paying about $50 (approx. Rs. 3,300) a month.
