Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus Launched with 11th Gen CPU and an LTE variant

Surface Pro 7+ will hit stores this week in select markets.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ comes with minor changes in its design, but the internals see a decent refresh. The device comes with changes like an upgraded CPU, expandable storage, and an LTE variant in the same 12.3-inch form factor.

The device starts at $899 (roughly Rs. 66,000) for the Wi-Fi variant and the LTE variant has a starting price tag of $1,149 (roughly Rs. 84,400). The Surface Pro 7+ comes in two colour options, Matte Black and Platinum. The screen supports a 10 point touch multi-touch system and comes with an aspect ratio of 3:2 display.

It runs on Windows 10 Pro and comes with a PixelSense display with a resolution of 2,736×1,824 pixels. The device can be equipped with upto a quad-core i7-1165G7 CPU for the Wi-Fi variant and Core i5-1135G7 CPU for the LTE one. The entry-level model comes with Intel Core i3 and UHD graphics while the i5 and i7 counterparts are equipped with Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

The Wi-Fi variant can be specced upto 32GB of LPDDR4x RAM while the LTE variant can be topped upto 16GB LPDDR4x RAM. The 2-in1 laptop comes with a removable storage option for security and data retention. Microsoft was also quoted saying “to support the security and privacy needs of business and educational organizations.” For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, a USB Type-A port, 3.5mm jack, microSD card reader for the Wi-Fi variant and a SIM card slot on the LTE variant, and the Surface Connect port for charging.

Microsoft says the device will be available in select markets in Asia, Europe, and North America starting from the end of this week.
