Microsoft 365 down: Xbox, Frontier Airlines and other services not working

Microsoft 365 is currently facing a big outage, affecting most of Microsoft’s apps and services including Outlook, Xbox, and for some reason Frontier Airlines as well. The reason behind this outage hasn’t been disclosed yet but Microsoft has acknowledged it in its service status report. The tech giant commented on the outage, saying, “Users may be unable to access various Microsoft 365 apps and services.”

Who all are struggling with Microsoft 356 outage?

The outage-detecting website, Downdetector has reported over 900 users facing issues with the Microsoft 365. Among them, 10 percent of users are facing issues with Outlook, 16 percent of users are facing server errors, and 74 percent of users are facing issues with Outlook. And not only that, this outage might also be affecting the OneDrive for Business content and OneNote as well.

Additionally, it has also impacted the Xbox Live services. Xbox users are not able to access their accounts or play Xbox games. Many have also reported the issue on X (formerly Twitter) and Microsoft has also acknowledged this issue, saying “We’re investigating”.

Surprisingly, the Microsoft 365 outage has also impacted Frontier Airlines. Neither Frontier Airlines nor Microsoft have disclosed the reason behind it. But Frontier Airlines acknowledged the issue and said “Our System are currently impacted by Microsoft outage, which is also affecting other companies. We appreciate your patience.”

When will it be fixed?

If you are still facing the issue with Microsoft 365 apps and services, it will be running back soon. This is because Microsoft has confirmed that it has been fixed now and “is up and running”.
