The Micromax Funbook Pro, which was spotted on Micromax’s website few days ago, is now available for purchase via online shopping site Snapdeal. The pricing of the device has been listed as Rs. 9,999. Micromax has not yet officially announced the launch of the Funbook Pro.
The Micromax Funbook Pro runs on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and is powered by a Cortex A8 1.2GHz processor. It has 1GB of RAM, and a 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.
Other specifications include a VGA front facing camera, 8GB built-in storage and microSD card slot that supports storage up to 32GB. For connectivity, the device supports 3G via USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, and USB 2.0. The device comes with a massive 5,600 mAh battery.
Like the original Funbook tablet, the Funbook Pro comes with various apps including Zip, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Text Editor, Youtube and more.
Micromax is offering a Tata Docomo Photon data card with the Funbook Pro tablet. The 3G dongle will enable 3G access on the device. According to the info on the Snapdeal’s website, activation and delivery of Tata Docomo Photon postpaid connection will be done through Tata Teleservices stores/call centre at a fee of Rs. 500 for processing and handling, which is to be borne by the customer.
