Meta AI vs Microsoft Copilot: Who generates better AI images? Check results
HIGHLIGHTS

I have compared the images generated by both Meta AI and Microsoft Copilot using the same prompts.

Google's Gemini is also a popular AI chatbot but is currently not able to generate images of people, leaving it out of this comparison.

Meta AI generates detailed images.

In today’s tech world, artificial intelligence (AI) is a big deal. Everyone’s racing to make the best AI stuff. One cool thing AI does is make pictures. As giants like Meta and Microsoft fight for supremacy in this arena, the question arises: which AI chatbot is better for generating images?

In this article, we delve into the showdown between Meta AI and Microsoft Copilot, exploring their power to generate compelling visuals. It’s important to note that Google’s Gemini is also a popular AI chatbot but is currently not able to generate images of people, leaving it out of this comparative analysis.

Simple Prompt

I tried to generate images for the prompt: Create an image of a person typing on a computer, with an AI-generated hand reaching out from the screen.

Meta AI

I love the image that Meta AI generated for the given prompt. There is a person typing on a computer with an AI hand reaching out from the screen. That’s exactly what I asked the chatbot to create.

Microsoft Copilot

The image generated by Copilot lacks details and is disappointing. The hand is reaching out to the screen instead of reaching out from the screen. Also, the image only shows the hands, not the person.

Mid-level Prompt

For the mid-level, I generated images using this prompt: Create an image of a person sitting at a desk, looking at a computer screen. Behind them stands an AI robot, gesturing towards the screen and instructing the person on how to use the technology.

Meta AI

I must say, Meta AI has impressed me again. Meta AI created an image like I wanted. Well, what stands out in the image is how realistic the person looks. Also, I love the details of the AI robot.

Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot has created a decent image. It created what I asked. But if I have to choose between the images, I would prefer the image created by Meta AI due to its details and finer quality.

Complex Prompt

Let’s see the results for the complex prompt. Here’s the given prompt: Create an image of a corporate boardroom setting. In the room, there are both humans and AI robots seated around a sleek, rectangular table made of polished glass. All things in the room are AI-operated, from the holographic displays lining the walls to the smart lighting system overhead. Glass windows offer a view of a bustling city skyline. The humans and AI robots engage in a lively discussion, with the robots seamlessly integrating data analysis and providing real-time insights to support the decision-making process.

Meta AI

The image generated by Meta AI is good. I like the images that Meta AI created, but it lacks “holographic displays” and “smart lighting system overhead”. To be more precise, the display looks like a normal display not “holographic” and even the lighting system looks standard. But apart from that, the image is good.

Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot has created a satisfactory image. There is a holographic display and smart lighting system that Meta AI did not add to its image. In my opinion, the image created by Copilot is decent but not great.
