I feel that the season of new tech launches is in full swing and tech giants are launching new products, left, right, and centre. Today, we are going to talk about the upcoming flagship chipset from MediaTek. It is expected that the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor will launch soon. During its developer conference on May 7, the silicon maker will unveil its new chipset.
The company revealed these details via a Weibo post. Apart from the launch date, MediaTek hasn’t disclosed anything about the chipset yet. MediaTek is still tight-lipped about the specifications of this device. It is obviously expected that this will offer a better performance compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 9300 SoC.

Now, we know that the MediaTek developer conference is themed around AI, nothing surprising about that. So it is expected that the Dimensity 9300+ chip will also have advanced AI capabilities, to cater to the growing AI demands. As per leaks, we might get to see a Cortex-X4 core boasting a clock speed of 3.4GHz.
Further, it is expected that the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip will feature an AI Processing Unit or APU, as well. This can be a slightly changed form of a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and will be used for AI computing.
If we trust the rumours, then it is expected that the Vivo X100s can be one of the first smartphones to use the Dimensity 9300+ chipset. This smartphone will be a part of the Vivo X100 series and will be launched alongside the Vivo X100s Pro and the Vivo X100 Ultra. The Vivo X100s is expected soon and hopefully, we will also be able to see the powers of this upcoming MediaTek chip.
