HIGHLIGHTS

A teaser has revealed that we will have to hold our breaths for four months before we see Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist take on the small screen in the form of Marvel’s Defenders on Netflix. The show airs August 18 2017

A new video teaser is making the rounds on the internet. The video features the Defenders –  Luke, Jessica, Danny, and Matt in an elevator. The footage is that of a security camera. Jessica Jones notices the camera and takes it out with a punch. When she take out the camera, the timestamp is 08:18:20:17, which translates to August 18, 2017.

Another treat for fans is that in the video there is an IP address : http://23.253.120.81. Typing this in the browser reveals a website which is that of the New York Bulletin Archive. The paper which exists in the marvel universe is full of information about our four heroes.

Marvels Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage received a positive reception when it hit Netflix. But Iron Fist was met with mostly a critical response. But don’t worry. The show hasn’t explored Iron Fist's fullest potential and we can’t wait to see him unleash his Chi.

This isn’t the first superhero crossover TV show. We have seen a lot of crossover episodes between The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl in the DC universe. We also have DC Legends of Tomorrow as well. What do you think? Which is the better universe on the small screen? Marvel or DC?
