Make your work from home experience easier with these printers

You can call them Multifunction Printers (MFP), All-in-One printers, Multi-Function Devices (MFD) or printers that do a lot more than just print. We'll stick with All-in-One printers for now. The versatile nature of All-in-One printers stems from the fact that they're great at printing high-quality photos, reams of spreadsheets and even the odd email every now and then from among the thousands of different documents you have to work with. The following printers were chosen for their prowess at handling the typical print workloads that your home or small office might have. For larger volumes, you will have to scale up to a more robust model. Please note, these printers were selected on the basis of specifications and are not necessarily tested.

Epson EcoTank L3101

The Epson EcoTank L3101 was practically made for this very purpose. It’s an All-in-One printer with a high print rate for colour and monochrome print outs. Being an ink tank printer, the L3101 has a really high yield per refill so for folks with heavy use, this might be a printer worth considering. Another nifty feature that might appeal to some is the borderless printing function that can ensure your prints go nearly to the edge of the paper. There is no ADF in this printer so you’ll have to sort that manually. The L3101 uses the T003 Ink Bottles for Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow colours. And the maximum print resolution is 5760×1440.

Canon E4270

The Canon E4270 is truly an All-in-One colour inkjet printer because it's got WiFi, FAX, printing and scanning capabilities, all in a small form factor. Moreover, there's even a fully automatic duplex Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) at the top which can copy both sides of your documents without you having to manually feed pages one-by-one. The E4270 has a print resolution of 4800×1200 DPI and a maximum scan resolution of 600×1200 DPI. The E4270 uses the PG-47 (black) and CL-57 (colour) ink cartridges.

HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075

HP has the new Ink Advantage series of printers that are more economical with their ink consumption and the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075 is one of the best printers from their lineup. Like other all-in-one printers, it too has print, scan and copy capabilities and they've even included WiFi Direct to make wireless printing possible. This one does not include an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) so copying will be a manual process. The Ink Advantage 5075 has a print resolution of 4800×1200 DPI for colour and a maximum print resolution of 1200×1200 rendered DPI for black and white. The 5075 uses the HP 680 (black) and HP 680 (colour) ink cartridges.

Epson EcoTank L3152

Ink Tank printers are way more economical given that they can outlast most of the competition. The Epson L3152 all-in-one Ink Tank printer rides high on the list of best printers for this very reason. It's part of the Epson EcoTank printer lineup which is all about print economy. It has print, scan and copy functionalities sans the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for the scanner. The L3152 uses the T003 Ink Bottles for Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow colours. And the maximum print resolution of the L3152 is 5760×1440.
