Google will host the “Made by Google” event this week and a lot is expected from the event. We are obviously expecting some hardware drops which will include the Pixel 9 series, but Google has hinted that AI will again take centre stage. Before the event takes place on August 13, here’s everything that we can expect to be announced at the event:
During this event, Google will announce the new Pixel 9 series. We expect to get four smartphones from the series this time: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. All four upcoming Pixel smartphones are expected to run on Google’s Tensor G4 chipset. We might also get new AI features on these devices.

Well, along with the smartphones we are also getting a new Google Pixel Watch 3. If rumours are to be believed, it will have a larger XL model, providing users with a choice between a 41mm and a 45mm size. A newer design language is also expected.
During this event, Google might also unveil the successor to its Pixel Buds Pro- the Pixel Buds Pro 2. We might get a newer design, larger speaker grills, and wing tips for a more secure fit. We might get active noise cancellation and possibly spatial audio playback too. It might come in an egg shape and have a USB-C port and LED indicator for pairing and battery status.
Along with all the hardware launches, Google can also unveil Android 15. However, previous reports suggest that this one can take a back seat and can be unveiled a couple of weeks after the event. Well, luckily we just have to wait for a few days to find out.
