CES is going on right now and companies are showing off their best products to essentially set the stage for the rest of the year. We’ve previously reported that LG Display was rolling out (pun intended) a bendable screen at CES and Sony was launching new Bravia TVs. Now, it’s Lenovo with the Lenovo ThinkReality A3 AR smart glasses. Unveiled at CES this year, the AR glasses come with 1080p stereoscopic displays that can actually display five separate virtual monitors. These glasses could be used in various activities such as immersive training and managing workflows better by using AR.

Two versions of the Lenovo ThinkReality A3 AR smart glasses have been released, namely, the ThinkReality A3 PC Edition which essentially connects to a desktop or a laptop and the ThinkReality A3 Industrial Edition which connects to select Motorola phones for a more mobile and less restrictive experience. Lenovo says that these glasses were developed as a means to transform work across different industries and expertise.

In a statement, Jon Pershke, Lenovo Vice President of Strategy and Emerging Business, Intelligent Device Group, said, “Whether working in virtual spaces or supporting remote assistance, the ThinkReality A3 enhances workers' abilities to do more wherever they are.”. Who knows how these AR glasses can change the way we work, but it’ll be interesting to see how it all comes together when it does eventually hit the market.
