For those who don’t know, the Kia Sonet is a sub-4-meter compact SUV that first launched in India in 2020. Kia has been gaining popularity in the Indian market since it launched its first car in India, the Kia Seltos. The Sonet is quite similar to the Seltos in terms of tech. However, both cars come with a completely different design. In the latest Kia Sonet facelift, the brand has added some really cool tech features. Let’s talk about it.

Kia Sonet Facelift and the tech inside

Furthermore, it includes star map pattern LED DRLs, Ice Cube LED foglamps, and connected LED taillights.

Inside, you’ll get a 10.25-inch infotainment display and a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster. On the other hand, in some lower variants, there is an 8-inch infotainment display instead of the 10.25-inch. Surprisingly, these lower variants feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Whereas, the upper-level variants boast wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The facelift variant also runs on Kia Connect tech and now offers a 360-degree view.

Coming to the cabin, you are now getting LED ambient sound lighting. Along with that, Kia has added 4-way electronic controls to adjust the driver’s seat. This only manages the backrest and the reach of the seat, while the height adjustment remains manual. Next, all the electronic windows now come with one push-up/down feature in the top-end variant. Furthermore, you will get a Bose 7 Speaker System and air purifier as well. It also comes with Amazon Alexa support, which interestingly can be used to control specific car features remotely, even when you are not in the car.
