Karbonn has launched the Smart Tab TA Fone A37 in India for Rs. 9,490. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and boasts of dual-SIM capabilities.
Karbonn has added yet another tablet to its portfolio. Called the Karbonn TA FONE A37, the device boasts of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean along with dual-SIM (WCDMA GSM) capabilities and voice-calling functionality. The tablet is available online on Snapdeal.com for Rs. 9,490.
The Karbonn Smart Tab TA Fone A37 has a dual-core 1GHz processor along with 512MB RAM. It has a 7-inch display with a 480×800 pixel resolution. The rear of the smartphone houses a 2MP shooter and the front has a 0.3MP camera for video calling. It also has 4GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. A 3000mAh battery powers the tablet.
The Smart Tab TA Fone A37 also boasts of support for a large array of video formats including AVI, MP4, 3GP, FLV, WMV, MKV and MPEG and Audio formats including MP3, WMA and WAV.
This isn’t the first tablet to launch with dual-SIM cum voice calling capabilities. We have seen the HCL Me Tab Y3 launch that boasts of dual-SIM along with voice calling capabilities. Priced at Rs. 11,999 the HCL Me Y3 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor and 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It has a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.
Other key specifications of the HCL Me Tab Y3 include a 2MP rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, mini HDMI, 4GB built-in storage, 32GB expandable storage via microSD and a 3100mAh battery.
