JioTag Go vs Apple AirTag: What all you get and what you don’t
HIGHLIGHTS

JioTag Go is budget-friendly and works with Android through Google’s Find My Device network.

Apple AirTag offers advanced tracking features, including Precision Finding and global Find My network integration.

JioTag Go is priced at Rs 1,499, while Apple AirTag comes at a higher price of Rs 2,800.

Jio previously introduced an affordable coin-sized tracking device that could be very useful for users who forget things and then have difficulty finding them. The JioTag Go, marketed as a perfect tracking device for Android users, competes with the Apple AirTag, another popular tracking device that uses the FindMy network.

If you’re wondering what the main differences are between the JioTag Go and the Apple AirTag, here are some details to help you make a smart purchase choice.

Compatibility:

JioTag Go: Supports quick pairing with Android smartphones running Android 9 or later and connects to Android devices through the Google Find My Device network.

Apple AirTag is only compatible with the Apple ecosystem and uses the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch’s Find My network.

Design & Build:

JioTag Go: A coin-sized, small device that comes in a variety of colors and can be attached to keychains or other personal objects.

The Apple AirTag is a small, round, polished stainless steel device that is rated IP67 for resistance to dust and water. Additionally, it has a high-end feel and is engraving-personalizable.
