Reliance Jio has just launched JioTag Go. It is similar to Apple Air Tag but a lot more affordable. It is a bluetooth-enabled tracker and it is India’s first Android-compatible tagging device. It helps users locate their valuable products, whatever the tag is attached to: keys, wallets, luggage, pets etc. It works on Google’s Find My Device network. Let’s see how JioTag Go works.
JioTag Go uses Bluetooth v5.3 technology and emits secure signals that can be detected by nearby Android devices connected to Google’s Find My Device network. This global connectivity allows users to locate misplaced items with ease. When in “Lost Mode,” the device automatically notifies the user if it is detected within the network or not.
JioTag Go works on a replaceable CR2032 battery with up to one year of battery life, an additional spare battery, and a lanyard for convenience. It comes with a 120 dB built-in speaker which helps in locating tagged items, and weighs just 77g.
It also comes with features such as Unknown Tracker Alerts to maintain security. The JioTag Go does not require a SIM card so it is very simple to use. If you’re one of the clumsy ones, it will help you out.
JioTag Go is originally priced at Rs 2,999. But as a special launch price, it is available at a 50% discount and can be grabbed at Rs 1,499.
JioTag Go is available in four colours: black, orange, white, and yellow. It can be purchased through Reliance Digital, Amazon, JioMart, and Digital Life stores.
