Popular telecom operator Reliance Jio has extended its free JioHotstar subscription offer until April 15. This means that by recharging their Jio numbers with specific recharge plans, customers can receive a free JioHotstar subscription and watch the IPL 2025 live in up to 4K resolution. Previously, the company introduced the offer, which was set to expire on March 22, but has now been extended.
Jio recharge plans with free JioHotstar subscription
The Jio users who recharge their plans with Rs 299 or a higher plan will get a 90-day complimentary JioHotstar subscription, which can be accessed on smartphones and even smart TVs. The customers can also get their hands on a free JioFiber or Jio AirFiber connection for 50 days.
Speaking of the Rs 299 Jio recharge plan, the customers can get 1.5GB of 4G data per day for 28 days, along with JioHotstar access. But, if you already have an active plan, you can pay Rs 100 to avail of the same JioHotstar subscription linked to their phone numbers.

With this move, Jio seems to be aiming for an increased subscriber base. Previously, the number of users surpassed 100 million paid users. This move comes after the merger and the decision to quit the freemium model on JioCinema, which was followed by free IPL 2024 streaming.
JioHotstar subscription prices
If you opt for the JioHotstar subscription separately, you may have to pay more. The JioHotstar subscription plan starts from Rs 149, which is a three-month mobile-only plan. The company also offers a Rs 299 plan, which is a three-month Super plan. Lastly, the customers can also get a Rs 499 plan, which is a complete ad-free premium plan with 4K content access.
