Apple can introduce new iPad models, including the successor to the iPad Mini (2021).

Apple just hosted its Glowtime event earlier this week. During the event, the tech giant unveiled its latest iPhone 16 series, Watch Series 10, and new AirPods 4, among other things. But it seems like this isn’t the last Apple launch event. There are a few more products in the pipeline for Apple which it can announce in the coming weeks. Read along to find what’s in store.

Apple analyst Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is planning another launch as soon as October. After the iPhone 16 series, this launch would focus on iPads and Macs. In his Power On newsletter, Gurman shared that Apple will introduce new iPad models, including the successor to the iPad Mini (2021).

These upcoming iPad models are expected to see an upgrade. Speaking of the iPad Mini in particular, it remains unclear as to which chipset it will carry. I don’t think that we’ll get to see the M4 chipset on the iPad Mini like this year’s iPad Air and iPad Pro. However, being a “Mini’ device, it could pack the A18 or the M3 chip. These chips make more sense because of Apple Intelligence features. Why not M4 chip? Well, even for the iPad Pro, the M4 chip is said to be overpowered. Why would anyone need such power in iPad Mini?

Moving on, Gurman also shared that Apple can also unveil new Mac models, along with an updated Mac Mini. As per the rumour mill, it can feature Apple’s next-generation M4 chipset. The form factor is also expected to go smaller.

Further, the updated MacBook Pro and iMac models are also expected. These can also be by the M4 chip.
