Apple is just a week away from launching the most-awaited iPhone 16 lineup and iPhone fans are not able to hold it together. The tech giant will most likely launch four smartphones this year as well, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Now, apart from this, the Apple Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, AirPods 4, and other products are also expected. In this article, I am going to tell you when and how you can catch the iPhone 16 launch event. Let’s go!
Apple will host the iPhone 16 launch event aka Glowtime event on September 9. It will start at 10:30 PM in India, so you might have to compromise your sleep to an hour or so. Next, to watch it, you can directly go to Apple’s official website, or you can search for the event on YouTube, or you can just click here.
Now, what can Apple announce at the event? Well that I have already mentioned in the first paragraph but we also have some details on those products from leaks and rumours. Let me tell you about them.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will likely come with the new A18 Bionic chip and 8GB of RAM. The regular iPhone 16 is expected to have a 6.1-inch screen, while the Plus version might offer a bigger 6.7-inch display. Their batteries could also be different, with the iPhone 16 rumored to have a 3,561mAh battery and the iPhone 16 Plus possibly getting a 4,006mAh one. Both phones are said to feature dual cameras on the back, including a 48MP main camera with a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens again.
The iPhone 16 Pro models are rumoured to have a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max might feature a larger 6.9-inch display. Both models are expected to run on the A18 Pro chip. The iPhone 16 Pro might have a 3,355mAh battery, and the Pro Max could come with a 4,676mAh battery. Camera-wise, the Pro versions are rumored to have three rear cameras: a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x zoom, and a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera.
Apple could also reveal the Apple Watch Series 10, which is expected to keep a similar design but offer bigger display sizes of 45mm and 49mm. The event might also include the launch of the Watch Ultra 3 and the third-generation Apple Watch SE.
Furthermore, it is likely that the fourth-generation AirPods might also debut at the event. Leaks suggest that these new AirPods will use the H2 chip, which could improve both sound quality and battery life. They’re also expected to come in two versions, both featuring a USB-C charging port.
The AirPods Max 2 is rumored to get a big internal upgrade with a new chip, possibly the H2 chip found in the AirPods Pro 2. These new headphones are also rumoured to launch at Apple Glowtime event. Another key change is expected to be a switch to USB-C charging.
