Apple has finally announced the date of its iPhone launch event. The tech giant will be launching new iPhones on September 9. Good news, the older iPhones including the iPhone 15 lineup, which is still the latest iPhone series, will most likely see a price cut. iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus

The iPhone 15 is currently available on Apple’s online store at a starting price of Rs 79,600 and the iPhone 15 Plus for Rs 89,600. Both smartphones are equipped with Apple’s A16 chipset. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus feature 6.1-inch and 6.3-inch OLED panels with HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Both smartphones feature a 48MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens on the back. The iPhone 15 is packed with a 3349mAh battery, whereas the iPhone 15 Plus has a 4383mAh battery.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

Currently, Apple is selling the iPhone 15 Pro at a starting price of Rs 1,29,800 and the iPhone 15 Pro Max for Rs 1,54,000. The iPhone 15 Pro models run on Apple’s A17 Pro processor. They feature 6.1-inch and 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panels with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and 120Hz refresh rate. They have a triple camera setup on the back, holding a 48MP main camera, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Now again, just like the standard models, the iPhone 15 Pro houses a 3274mAh battery, and the Pro Max packs a 4441mAh battery.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are now two years old and they are available online for Rs 69,600 and Rs 1,19,900. The iPhone 14 is powered by Apple’s A15 Bionic chipset and 3279mAh battery. Further, it features a 6.1-inch OLED panel with HDR10 and Dolby Vision. For photography, it has a 12MP dual camera setup on the back.

On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro runs on the A16 Bionic chip and a 3200mAh battery. It has a 6.1-inch LTPO OLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10. This iPhone is equipped with a 48MP main camera, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide lens.

Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2

The Apple Watch Series 9 starts from Rs 41,900 and the Watch Ultra 2 from Rs 89,900. The Apple Watch Series 9 offers 2000 nits of peak brightness, while the Watch Ultra 2 reaches 3000 nits, Apple’s brightest display. Both watches can dim to one nit for dark settings and are powered by the custom S9 SiP with a 4-core Neural Engine for faster machine learning. The Watch Series 9 provides 18 hours of battery life, while the Watch Ultra 2 offers up to 36 hours (72 in Low Power Mode). They feature a new double tap gesture, run watchOS 10, and process Siri requests on-device for faster responses.

AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro (2nd Gen)

Apple is selling the AirPods 3 on its website at a starting price of Rs 19,900. These earbuds support spatial audio with Dolby Atmos for immersive sound. They have in-ear detection, beamforming mics for clearer calls, hands-free Siri, and read time-sensitive notifications. Their battery life lasts up to 30 hours with the case, including fast charging and MagSafe compatibility. Lastly, they’re also part of the Find My network with Lost Mode and separation alerts.

On the other hand, the AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) is currently priced at Rs 24,900 on Apple’s online store.
