However, reports now indicate that the tech giant will release the update in the coming week.

The iOS 18.2 will bring several new features making the iPhones more user-friendly. It should be noted that only iPhone 15 Pro models and iPhone 16 series will be getting the Apple Intelligence features while other eligible iPhones will get few design updates and select new features.

Here are the iOS 18.2 features that your iPhones will get:

  1. Image Playground: The flagship iPhone users will now be able to create based on their requirements just by giving a text prompt. The users can give their own descriptions or use Apple’s built-in suggestions for the images. It can also make use of the content in Messages or Notes applications to create images.
  2. Image Wand: The new feature will be a part of the Notes application and will help users generate high-quality images from the rough sketches drawn.
  3. Genmoji: The users will now be able to make fun emoji characters using Genmoji. The users only have to give it a description and the Genmoji will make a similar animated emoji. The users can also make basic elements and choose from multiple suggestions.
  4. ChatGPT: The much anticipated ChatGPT integration with Siri will also be the part of iOS 18.2 update. The users will get help in content creation without any login needs.
  5. Visual Intelligence: The iPhone 16 series users will now be able to get more information about the surroundings. The feature will also offer text-to-speech functionality, detect phone numbers and addresses and even summarise text.
  6. Advanced writing tools: The new update will also introduce more writing tool features. The users will be able to adjust the tone to friendly, professional, or simplified versions.
