What is an AI PC?
An AI PC is equipped with a central processing unit (CPU), a graphics processing unit (GPU), and a neural processing unit (NPU), each designed with specific AI acceleration capabilities. An NPU is a specialised accelerator that efficiently manages AI and machine learning (ML) tasks directly on the PC, eliminating the need to send data to the cloud for processing. As the demand for automating, streamlining, and optimizing tasks on PCs continues to grow, the AI PC is becoming increasingly essential.
