The Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite is available in India via online retailer, Flipkart. Priced at Rs. 13,700, the 7-inch Android 4.0 ICS tablet supports 3G (HSPDA 3.6Mbps) and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), aiming to provide seamless connectivity on the move. GPRS/EDGE is also supported.
The MediaPad 7 Lite features a 7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, with 5-point multi-touch and a resolution of 1,024×600 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and a GC800 600MHz GPU.
Other specifications of the Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite include 4GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot (supports up to 32GB), microUSB 2.0 with On-the-Go support, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth v3.0 with EDR, DLNA, and GPS with A-GPS support.
Weighing in at 370 grams, the MediaPad 7 Lite is 11mm thick. It has a 3.2MP rear camera, and 0.3MP front-facing camera. The tablet features a gravity sensor as well. No FM radio connectivity is available however.
The Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite features a 4,100mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 5 hours of continuous video playback, and 200 hours of standby time. Huawei has bundled the tablet with a document viewer, and ships it with a headset in the box. Huawei HiSpace cloud storage is also available.
For now, Huawei has not officially launched the MediaPad 7 Lite tablet in India via its regular retail channels. However, customers can still avail of one-year manufacturer warranty for the tablet, and 6 months manufacturer warranty for other inbox accessories. It will ship in 2-4 business days from the time of booking.
