Even though the Huawei Ascend Mate was the highlight of yesterday’s press conference, the Chinese manufacturer also showcased its quad-core tablet, the MediaPad 10 Link. The tablet is available in India for Rs. 24,990. You can pick it up from online retailers such as Flipkart.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 shows off a 10.1-inch IPS display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the tablet has the 1.2GHz Hi-Silicon K3V2 CPU coupled with a 16-core GPU and 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean skinned with the Huawei’s Emotion UI. The rear of the tablet has a 3MP camera without a flash and the front has a VGA camera for video calling. It has 16GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. A 6600mAh battery powers the entire package.
The tablet also boasts of two speakers located at the back of the tablet. The MediaPad 10 Link supports Dolby Surround Sound.
