Huawei and Bharti Airtel have teamed up to provide Airtel 3G experience to passengers travelling in EasyCabs in Delhi NCR. As part of the scheme, Huawei will be providing free Wi-Fi through its E355 Wi-Fi data card. At present, the passengers in Delhi NCR can avail this offer in 100 EasyCabs. The offer is valid from June 28 to September 27, 2013 in Delhi NCR. So far, there’s no word on whether the offer will be rolled out in other cities.
Passengers can access the Wi-Fi service through a password provided to them. Users can download movies, watch videos and live TV, make video calls and access high speed internet through the service.
Users can however purchase the Huawei E355 data card from various online retailers such as Flipkart, Homeshop18, Snapdeal, Tradus and offline stores. The Huawei dongle will also be available at select Airtel retail stores.
