HTC is reportedly working on a new tablet, which will have similar design like the HTC Nexus 9 launched last year. The tablet is expected to arrive in the second half of 2015.
According to upleaks, HTC's tablet will be based on the Nexus 9, with the same 9-inch display and 4:3 aspect ratio. However, the leakster states that the hardware specifications may be different, but no details have been mentioned.
HTC has earlier launched the HTC Flyer and the HTC Jetstream tablets which did not see good reviews. The company's most popular tablet is the Google Nexus 9, which launched last year. The Nexus 9 has an 8.9-inch IPS LCD display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. It has a Nvidia Tegra K1 processor with 2GB of RAM. The tablet has an 8 MP rear autofocus camera and a 1.6 MP front camera. Connectivity options included are micro-USB, GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth support. It packs a 6700mAh battery and runs Android 5.0 OS. The tablet is available in Indigo Black, Lunar White and Sand colors.
The tech giant has recently sent out press invites for its event on March 1 where the tech giant is expected to unveil its latest flagship device One M9. According to rumors the HTC One M9 will have a 5-inch full HD display, a 20.7 MP rear camera and a 13 MP front camera. It will have a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and run on Android 5.0 out-of-the-box with HTC Sense UI 7.01 on top.
