HP has introduced a new Windows 8.1-based tablet called HP Stream 8. Priced at Rs. 16,990, the HP Stream 8 is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM.
The HP Stream 8 has an 8-inch HD IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It has 5-megapixel AF rear facing camera, and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It comes with 32GB built-in storage, supports expandable storage up to 32GB.
Connectivity options include single SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n; Bluetooth 4.0 + LE. It is powered by a 4000 mAh battery.
The new HP tablet will be competing against a range of mid-range tablets such as the Lenovo S8 and Yoga 8, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and Dell Venue 8.
