HP has unveiled a new budget Android tablet called the HP 7 Plus. The new HP tablet runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The HP 7 Plus has a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution. It sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet comes with 8GB of internal storage space and a microSD expansion slot that supports up to 32GB. For connectivity, the tablet supports 802.11b/g/n (Miracast compatible) and microUSB 3.0. It comes with a 2,800mAh lithium-polymer battery, which is rated to deliver up to 5 hours and 30 minutes of back up.
The company is offering free 25GB cloud storage via Box, as well as quite a few preloaded apps – Kingsoft Office, Skype, HP ePrint, HP File Manager, and HP Connected Photo by Snapfish.
HP has launched the tablet in the U.S. for $100 (Rs. 5,844 approximately). Right now, there’s no word on the global release of the tablet. You can check out the full specifications of the HP 7 Plus here.
