Apple’s annual WWDC is currently underway and during the first day’s Keynote, the California-based tech giant announced the iOS 18 which introduced a lot many features, including AI. For now, iOS 18 is only available in beta version and will hopefully roll out for public use in September with the launch of a new iPhone series. But if you wish to experience it before that happens, then you can install the iOS 18 developer beta version. How do you do that? Read along and I will tell you.
iOS 18 is available as a developer beta now and the public beta will be rolled out after a couple of weeks, mostly in July. If you just can not wait, here’s how you can install the developer beta.

To install the iOS 18 developer beta, your device must be an iPhone XS or later and should be updated to at least iOS 16.4. Once all that is sorted, follow these steps:
Step1: On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Software Update
Step 2: Tap on the Beta Updates option and select iOS 18 Developer Beta
Step 3: Come back to the Software Update page and wait for the download to start
Step 4: Agree to terms to initiate the download process
Step 5: It will install automatically once the download is complete
However, if you are planning to install the iOS 18 developer beta, know that it can have many issues and your daily usage might be affected too. You might get to see unexpected crashes and app incompatibility.
Also, make sure that you have created a backup of your device if you ever wish to switch back to iOS 17.
