Whenever we have to use images to enhance our content pieces we usually turn to open sourced banks that usually have a limited amount of pictures, not suited to our interests at all times. With the onset of Generative AI, this has become a little dated as we can now generate our unique images with the help of AI. Generative AI programs such as mid-journey or DALL-E from OpenAI allow you to generate pictures from prompts, but that isn’t free of cost. Today, I am going to share with you how you can generate high-quality images from Google, and that too for free.
Yes, you heard me right. You can generate pictures on Google. It has now included Generative AI in Search. With this, Google is trying to develop new things that you can do with a search. So with a simple search, you will have your AI-generated images. Let me tell you how to go about it.

How to generate AI images on Google
For starters, we’re lucky as this feature is only available in India, Japan, and the US at the moment. Now follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to labs.google and find the “Google Search” category.
Step 2: Now turn on SGE- generative AI in search.
Step 3: Next, go to Google and type in your prompt in the search bar.
Step 4: Once the image is generated, you will see an edit option where you can concretize or give more prompts.
Step 5: If you’re satisfied with the image, then simply export and use it.

Not just this, the tech giant is incorporating AI in many more ways in its search. You might have noticed now whenever you search for something on Google, there’s an AI-based summary of sorts on top of the search results. However, all this is still in the trial mode and comes under an experiment called Search Labs which is available on Chrome desktop and the Google app only in select regions.
