Why the sign-in page changed

According to Google, the new sign-in page has a better layout for all screen types, which includes large and wide screens. The sign-in page will adjust to your screen’s size for a better user experience.

Where the change happened

The new sign-in page will show up on: Computers, phones and tablets.

You will notice it when you sign in to a Google app or a Google service on a browser, like Chrome.

However, it’s important to note that If you use an older version of a browser, you may still see the old sign-in page.

Availability

The new sign-in page is currently rolling to all Google Workspace customers and to users with personal Google Accounts.

There is no admin control for this feature. Also, there is no end user setting for this feature — you see these improvements automatically.

The company expects the rollout to be completed by March 4th, 2024.
