AI AI AI AI…..yes this word has been ringing in our heads for quite some time now. 2024 is said to be the year of AI, where we’ll see artificial intelligence doing so many great things. Big tech companies such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, and more are doing rounds on the internet with their new generative AI announcements. OpenAI, the father of ChatGPT, has recently rolled out Sora. What is Sora? It’s an AI tool that generates videos and wow! How realistic they look (with the right prompts). However, we see a lot of AI-generated images on the internet these days. Some can be detected but some require tools to detect AI.
To detect AI-generated images and videos, I have listed out some tools. Unfortunately, there is only one reliable tool to detect videos and that is also in development. Let’s talk about this.
Following the launch of OpenAI Sora, the brand is now working on a tool that can detect videos generated by Sora. The video-detecting tool will be rolled out with Sora when it is accessible to everyone. Speaking of Sora, this new OpenAI product is really good at generating videos, so good that you won’t be able to spot the difference in some videos. OpenAI posted a video sample on X (formerly Twitter) that really blew my mind. Check it out below.
This tool works well if you want to detect an AI image or audio. To detect an image of audio, you have to sign up on the website. Then simply go to the home page, drag your AI file over there, and it will tell you if it’s AI-generated or not.
This tool detects images through image pixels, smoothness, and other AI image patterns. Here, you don’t have to create an account. To use this tool, just drag the file on the home page, and it will tell you the results.
This AI tool is also super easy to use. To use this, open the website > tap on ‘Get Started’ > drag or upload your file over there > voila!
