Good news for online shopping enthusiasts - Google's mega online shopping festival begins tomorrow. Expect deals such as discount up to 50 percent on TVs and 40 percent on mobile phones.
Google’s Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) is set to kick off on December 11. The three-day long online shopping festival will see participation from more than 200 partners including online classifieds, travel sites, telecom companies, fashion labels, health and several other e-commerce sites.
Google says its last year’s GOSF had received an overwhelming response. Talking to reporters, Google India VP & Managing Director Rajan Anandan says: “Backed by the tremendous response last year, this year the mega shopping bonanza will be for three days starting on December 11-December 13.”
“Buyers can find discounts ranging from 20 per cent to up to 80 per cent in many categories. Up to 60 per cent off on luxury watches, 20 per cent on air tickets on domestic routes, up to 50 per cent on speakers, headphones & men’s accessories,” adds Google India Industry Director e-commerce Nitin Bawankule.
Users can also bag offers such as discount up to 80 percent on home décor, 40 percent off on furniture and mobile phones, up to 50 percent off on TVs, up to 45 percent discount on computers and tablets, up to 30 percent on cameras, 40 percent on footwear and so on.
Google’s GOSF, also called Indian version of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, had debuted in India last year. The 2012 GOSF saw participation of retailers such as FabFurnish, FashionandYou, Flipkart, eBay, Croma, Ezoneonline, Gadgets.in, Sulekha.
