Google Pixel Drop for March 2025

  • Gemini Live gets an upgrade: Now, you can speak to Gemini Live in over 45 languages without changing settings. Also, multimodal capabilities in Gemini Live, which Google announced in January and launched for Pixel 9 users, are now rolling out to all Pixel 6 and newer and Pixel Fold devices. Soon, you’ll even be able to interact with live video and screen sharing.
  • Screenshot organisation made easy: The Pixel Screenshots app will now suggest collections for your screenshots, and you can use it with your work profile to keep things like receipts and reports organised.
  • Pixel Studio for image creation: Create custom images of people or scenes just by typing a description.

  • AI-powered scam detection: Using on-device AI, your Pixel can detect suspicious patterns during phone calls and text messages. It will warn you in real time, so you can block and report scams before they become a problem.
  • Expanded Satellite SOS: If you’re in a remote area without cellular or Wi-Fi, you can now use satellite messaging in more regions, including Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, and Canada.
  • Find My Device live location sharing: You can now use Find My Device10 to share your live location with your friends and family.
  • Loss of Pulse detection: Pixel Watch 3 can detect if your heart stops and automatically call emergency services. This life-saving feature is now available in the U.S.
  • Track menstrual health: Pixel Watch 3 has added on-device menstrual tracking so you can conveniently log periods, view cycle status or predict your next period in the Fitbit app straight from your wrist.
  • More accurate step tracking: Your Pixel Watch now counts steps more precisely, even when you’re pushing a stroller or hiking with poles.
  • Auto-bedtime mode: Pixel Watch 2 now gets this feature to automatically turn off notifications and save battery when you fall asleep.
  • Dual Screen Preview update: Dual Screen Preview on Pixel Fold now supports video recording, so you can capture the perfect memory. And Pixel 9 Pro Fold users can now use Add Me with Dual Screen Preview so everyone’s included in the moment.
  • Connected Cameras: With Connected Cameras, you can connect your Pixel to another camera — like a GoPro or another Pixel phone — and use the cameras on all these devices to stream to social media platforms from different angles.
