Earlier this month, Google renamed its AI chatbot Bard as Gemini and also launched Gemini Advanced which provides access to the Ultra 1.0 AI model. Google also announced that Gemini will be coming to Google Workspace.
Now, Google has finally announced Gemini for Workspace. Also, the tech giant has announced a new standalone experience to chat with Gemini, with enterprise-grade data protections. This experience uses 1.0 Ultra, and will be available for Gemini Business and Gemini Enterprise customers.

Google has announced two plans for Gemini for Workspace: Gemini Business and Gemini Enterprise.
Gemini Business is a cheaper option to help both big and small companies begin using generative AI in Workspace. This plan lets them use Gemini for Workspace– including features like Help me write in Docs and Gmail, Enhanced Smart Fill in Sheets, and making images in Slides. It costs $20 per user per month with an annual commitment.
On the other hand, Gemini Enterprise– which is replacing Duet AI for Workspace Enterprise– costs $30 per user per month with an annual commitment. Gemini Enterprise offers the same capabilities as Gemini Business with more usage. It also includes additional capabilities for AI-powered meetings, where Gemini can translate closed captions in more than 100 language pairs, and soon even take meeting notes.
It’s important to note that existing Duet AI for Workspace customers will be automatically upgraded to Gemini Enterprise.
