As we are a couple of months down into 2024, tech companies are all set to present everything they have worked on in the past year. I am talking about Google I/O, the company’s developer conference, which happens annually. The tech company has announced the event date, happening on May 14. Hosted by Google, this event sees developers, technologists, and enthusiasts coming together. The company gives an exclusive insight into its advancements and future technologies across platforms such as Android, Chrome, Google Cloud, and more.
There’s still some time and Google is being tight-lipped about what can happen during the event, but the word is that AI could grab the most limelight. Until then, read along to know what we think Google can present during its I/O this year.

First, as I said, AI could be the centre of attention at this year’s Google I/O. The reason behind this is the fact that Google, like most others, has been playing around with AI for a while. Bard, Google’s AI chatbot was turned into Gemini and it could even generate images now. Further, Google Search was also enhanced with AI, so we could see more in that space.
In addition to that, it is also anticipated that Google could also introduce the highly awaited Google Pixel 8a during this event. A Google engineer had confirmed the device was really under work sometime back.

Lastly, as Android 15 has been under work for a while now, Google could also announce the same during this year’s I/O.
There’s a lot more that can happen in May. Let’s wait and see what Google has in store for the year. Stick around for more updates.
