Apple announced yesterday that it has enabled the gifting of applications in iTunes software. Similar to what users have been able to do with music and videos, this move will allow users to do much the same thing with applications they find on Apps page of iTunes.
Users of iTunes simply have to click on “Gift this App”, and then they can send it via e-mail to one or more people. Apple will deduct the amount from their registered credit cards, or from their account balance. However, users will not be able to use their store credit.
