Fujifilm FinePix S4000 launched in India, with 30X Super Zoom lens

Fujifilm has launched a new compact digital camera in India, the Fujifilm FinePix S4000. Part of the company’s Super Zoom range of cameras, the FinePix S4000 has been priced at Rs. 18,999 in India, and features a 14MP sensor, and a 30X optical zoom lens.

Other features of the camera include an electronic viewfinder, face detection and recognition, blink and smile detection, maximum ISO sensitivity of 6400, shooting mode, and HD video recording in a 16:9 widescreen format. The lens on the FinePix S4000 is a Fujinon 30X Wide 24mm optical zoom lens, complete with a 45-step zoom control.

Speaking on the launch of the device, Mr. K. Tanaka, MD, Fujifilm India, said:

“FUJIFILM is pleased to introduce latest FinePix S4000 camera to the market. Super Long Zoom is the specialty of this digital camera. Its compact body and user-friendly features are sure to attract the attention of camera buyers and photography enthusiasts”.

Mr. A. Rajkumar, Country General Manager (DSC), Fujifilm India, added:

“FinePix T 200 is the latest camera launched by Fujifilm. The camera has latest technology of today’s time and fits perfectly for Indian market. This camera is a value for their hard earn money.
