Experian launches business information widget
Experian announced the launch of a new widget that includes business information from it’s robust commercial database, BizSourceSM
Experian, a global information services company, announced the launch of a new widget that includes business information from Experian’s robust commercial database, BizSourceSM. Designed by JS-Kit for directory or local search Web sites, this embeddable graphical user interface (GUI) known as a widget provides an immediate, real-time display of Experian’s business information in a viewer-friendly interface.
“This groundbreaking tool is the first of its kind to link Web searching to a major business database, like BizSource, in real time,” said Alan Edgett, director of Strategy and Innovation for Experian’s Business Information Services. “By leveraging this technology, we are able to provide our valuable business information to the general public at no cost, enabling them to conduct more effective Web searches.”
The information displayed in the widget is the same that is included in Experian’s BizCheckSM reports. These reports provide a quick summary of the business information and include a simple credit rating system to help quickly identify if a business “checks out,” if questions were identified or if any problem areas exist.
