DJI has introduced the Inspire 1 'transformer' drone which can work without a GPS for Rs. 1.7 lakhs.

DJI, a manufacturer of commercial drones, has introduced its new drone, the Inspire 1 at a price of $2,800 (Rs. 1,72,340). The latest drone from DJI brings a new transforming design as it can lift its carbon fiber arms after lifting off to provide you with an unobstructed 360 degree view.

Talking about the unobstructed 360 degree view, the Inspire 1  drone uses a 12 MP camera with 9 element lens that can shoot 4K videos at 30fps. The 12 MP CMOS camera has 94 degree wide-angle view and is mounted on an auto-leveling gimbel making the drone a good option for shooting a birds-eye view.

The drone has the ability to stream 1080p videos upto a mile which is quite a feat. The drone also packs an optical flow sensor so it can fly completely stable even without a GPS making it quite suitable to be used indoors or in closed spaces. The drone comes with two remote controls so that you can fly it with a friend while your friend controls the camera

DJI’s Inspire 1 brings the camera capabilities of a pro-drone without the customizations of the older DJI Spreading Wings modular platform.
