Dell has launched a range of printers in India, catering to consumers across segments, from home offices to small and medium business.
According to Dell, its lineup of printers – which consist of both single function and multifunction devices – will be able to provide consumers with a reduced cost of printing, simply by its comprehensive warranty (supposedly the best standard warranties in the industry) and maintenance coverage, as well as better product reliability. Sounds like just another way to skin the printer cat. The printers are also optimized for energy efficiency and print quality, as well as speed.
There is a wide range of printers being introduced, though all are based on laser printing technology. The range includes what Dell is calling the world’s smallest single-function A4 colour laser-class printer (quite a title!) – the 1250C, as well as such monochrome laser printers as the multifunction 1133, and the various single-function monochrome laser printers as the 2230d, 2330d, 2330dn, 1130, and 1130n.
