It introduced Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus-powered PCs.

Dell has even furthered its partnership with NVIDIA to fasten AI adoption.

It seems like this is the season of AI announcements. Most tech players have been announcing their new AI-powered products. Dell has now become a part of this list as it unveiled its new lineup of Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus AI-powered products. The new portfolio offers everything from devices to data centers to cloud environments. Let’s take a look at everything AI that Dell has to offer.

Laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite

First up, Dell has introduced a new lineup of laptops, powered by the latest Snapdragon processors and AI. It introduced most Copilot+ PCs that are powered by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors, and feature the new Microsoft AI experiences.

Both professionals and consumers can use these laptops as they have been claimed to offer great performance and battery life. You get enhanced task management and workflow efficiency thanks to local computing and processing across the GPU, CPU, and NPU.

Dell has launched the following five laptops: the XPS 13 (Snapdragon X Elite), Inspiron 14, Inspiron 14 Plus (Snapdragon X Plus), Latitude 7455 (Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus both), and Latitude 5455.

AI announcements

Dell has even furthered its partnership with NVIDIA to fasten AI adoption by offering integrated Dell and NVIDIA capabilities through pre-validated, full-stack solutions.

Dell has partnered with Hugging Face to offer optimised on-premises deployment of generative AI models. With this, organisations can train and deploy customised large language models securely on Dell infrastructure. It has also partnered with Meta and Microsoft.

A part of its new portfolio is the Dell PowerScale F91. This is an all-flash file storage. It helps deal with AI workloads and delivers up to 127% improvement in performance and superior density. PowerScale will be integrated with the upcoming Project Lightning accelerating training times for large-scale AI workflows. Dell is also offering solutions for AI Data Protection.

The Dell PowerSwitch Z9864F-ON, powered by the Broadcom Tomahawk 5 chipset, doubles the network performance of AI applications. This switch supports modern network architecture with high throughput, low latency, and easy scalability. The Dell PowerEdge XE9680, combined with Broadcom 400G PCIe Gen 5.0 Ethernet adapters, enhances performance, scalability, and efficiency. Innovations in the Enterprise SONiC Distribution and SmartFabric Manager simplify the deployment and management of AI-centric network fabrics.
