China Mobile extends global reach with Sybase

Sybase announced that China Mobile has chosen Sybase 365 to extend its international SMS connectivity to increase global messaging services for China Mobile

Sybase 365, a subsidiary of Sybase, the global provider in mobile messaging services, announced that China Mobile has chosen Sybase 365 to extend its international SMS connectivity to an additional 44 countries and more than 130 operators. This will significantly increase global messaging services for China Mobile’s more than 390 million subscribers.

The newly added destinations include countries across Southeast Asia, South America, the Pacific Islands, the Middle East and Africa. Sybase 365 has been providing international SMS connectivity to China Mobile for the past several years and today services a total of 50 countries and more than 200 operators.
