The company announced GPT-4o and a lot of new capabilities. You can do a lot of new things. The company also announced a new ChatGPT desktop app, but there’s a catch. Read along to find out.
OpenAI has finally launched a desktop app through which users can access GPT-4o. It makes life more convenient and easier. You can use the new features directly on the web app while you are working.

Firstly, you can access all the new GPT-4o features on the ChatGPT desktop app. This update combines text, vision, and audio. In addition to this, here are some features that you can use:
1) You can use ChatGPT in a small window.
2) ChatGPT will be able to see what is happening on your screen and help in case of any queries. So like a proper assistant.

Well, the ChatGPT desktop app does sound great but it has been rolled out for Macs only. Windows users will not be able to use the app and will have to stick to the web version. At least for a while. Reports suggest that the Windows app can be rolled out by the end of this year.
