After launching ViewPad 10pi and ViewPad 10e, ViewSonic has unveiled another tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012. The new ViewPad e70 is a seven-inch tablet, which runs on the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform. The ViewPad e70 is powered by a 1GHz processor and has a 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. According to ViewSonic, the ViewPad e70 supports 1080p HDMI output, allowing users easily stream multimedia content. Moreover, the new ViewSonic slate has a seven-inch 800 x 480p capacitive multi touchscreen display, and comes pre-loaded with the Android Market. The device is embedded with a front facing as well as a rear facing camera. Priced at $ 170, the ViewPad e70 is being dubbed as the cheapest ICS tablet, and is also being pitted against likes of Amazon Kindle Fire. The ViewSonic slate is likely to hit the market by late Q1 2012.
