Canon EOS 6D Mark II full-frame DSLR with 26.1MP CMOS sensor launched in India starting at Rs 1,32,995

Canon has launched a new full-frame DSLR called the EOS 6D Mark II in India. The camera sports a 26.2MP CMOS sensor and features Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology as well as the DIGIC 7 image processor. The body of the the Canon EOS 6D Mark II is available for Rs 1,32,995, while the kit with the EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM lens is priced at Rs 1,84,995. The kit with the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens is priced at Rs 2,02,995.

With a full frame sensor, Dual Pixel CMOS AF and Vari-angle touch panel, the EOS 6D Mark II, will appeal to both still and video audiences allowing them to experience the world of full-frame imaging in new and interesting ways.”

The new Canon EOS 6D Mark II features a 45-point all cross-type AF system and out of the 45 points, 27 are f/8 compatible.  Further, the camera can take shots at 6.5fps, while in live view mode, it can take pictures at 4fps. It supports ISO supports ISO speeds of up to 40,000 and is equipped with a 7560 pixel RSB+IR metering sensor and colour detection autofocus. It also features a vari-angle touchscreen LCD monitor that can be used when taking pictures from different angles. The Canon EOS 6D Mark II can take videos in Full HD at 60fps, while tracking sensitivity and AF speed can be customized as per requirements. Other features include a 4K time-lapse movie function. 

The camera comes with Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, that can be used to transfer image and videos from the camera to smart devices and upload them Canon Image Gateway, social media platforms and cloud storage. The EOS 6D Mark II aso comes with Bluetooth and can maintain a constant connection to compatible smart devices. The connection can be used view images, start remote capture, and more. The GPS receiver will also let users log in coordinates of any place where they click pictures.
