Byond Tech has announced the launch of a new device called Mi-Book L9. The company dubs the device as a ‘Laplet’, the combination of tablet and laptop. The Byond Mi-Book L9 Laplet has a 9-inch capacitive 5 point touchscreen (800 x 480 pixels resolution) and can be attached with a keyboard.
The Mi-Book L9 runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and is powered by an A8 1.2GHz processor. It has a 512MB of RAM. Other features include 8GB built-in storage, expandable storage up to 32GB, VGA front camera, G-sensor, microUSB, Wi-Fi and 3G. There’s a massive 6,000 mAh battery onboard as well. The laplet comes preloaded with document editing features.
