A while since its debut in September 2021, Bose QuietComfort 45 has finally been released in India. It, as the name suggests, showcases proprietary tech like Acoustic Noise Cancelling and a dedicated Quiet mode toggle to cancel the outside noise while you put them on. Now before we get into the weeds of whats and hows, take note of the other underscored features of QC45 like Aware mode, up to 24 hours of claimed battery endurance, and Bluetooth multi-point technology.
The standout feature of these Bose cans is ANC. Although that acronym actually stands for Active Noise Cancellation, the American company is employing a technology called Acoustic Noise Cancellation. This uses built-in mics powered by “a proprietary digital chip” to continuously listen, analyze and kill ambient noise in the mid-range frequency. This is activated when you enable the given Quiet Mode. The brand boasts the choice of 11 levels of noise cancellation on the QC45.
On the other hand, if you want to know what’s happening around you, the Aware mode lets in some of the outside noise without needing you to remove the headphones.
When it comes to actual audio listening, things like the TriPort acoustic architecture and an Active EQ claim high-fidelity sound.
Wirelessly, Bluetooth 5.1 is supported for transmission and you can even connect to two devices simultaneously thanks to Multi-point technology.
You get to configure settings for most of these features within the Bose Music App. Within it you will have the voice assistant utility too.
The over-the-ear design of it comes with synthetic leather earcups and a glass-filled nylon headband. You can pick it in Triple Black and White Smoke with a matte finish.
Last but not least, the Bose QC45 offers up to 24 hours of battery life, and to charge it back full through the USB-C port would take about 2.5 hours. The company quotes that if you plug it in for 15 minutes, you could expect up to 2.5 hours of playback.
Bose QuietComfort 45 is retailing through Amazon India priced at ₹32,900 (introductory price).
