Bing goes down

This isn’t the news you wanted.

This might just be good news but Microsoft’s new search engine is now down, and inaccessible throwing up an unhelpful poorly formatted error message instead. Asking you politely to just try refreshing till it starts working again.

Bing has been steadily improving since its unveiling recently and for many it has become a search engine of choice. Is this a sign that finally traffic to Bing has exceeded what Microsoft engineers could have anticipated?

Or is it just another good old-fashioned “human error“? They do tend to make a lot of them.
